Exactly ONE YEAR later??!! PRGE or BUST!! ...YES!

Yipes, this is embarrassing, ...but I haven't typed a word since the last PRGE, Portland Retro Game Expo. ...No posts?
Wow! My bad.  Well, what the hell, there's no excuse for not posting for 12 months, I KNOW, but, hey, I'm 70, and, I'm busy: way TOO busy for a 70 year old:

NO REST FOR THE WEARY

Just to prove that I haven't been completely resting on my laurels, here's a quick visual compendium of only some of the art I've executed for clients this year: Clorox, Brita, Hot Wheels, Hoka Running Shoes, KFC (that's the Colonel at lower center) , The Museum of Making music, in San Francisco, and a talented  home brew retrogamer to be named later. I've also taught 2 classes at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Narrative art, and Concept art, and I'm authoring a new online class: Preliminary art. Which I will add to my teaching load next Spring.

Check in with me when You're 70 and let's compare notes.  ...just kidding.

Nevertheless, I have managed to remaster two of my favorites of my Retro Art, and I'd like to intro them here:

My two new offerings

My Capcom's U.N. Squadron poster art, and my Sega's 32X version of Space Harrier box art:

I've had fans describe this illustration as closest to the vision of the game they remember.
I've always loved the red to orange range in in schemes I did for video gaming. This piece, along with my version of Tetris remain two of my personal faves.

These are the prints I will have available for signing at PRGE this weekend

THANKS SO MUCH FOR CHECKING IN, AND I HOPE TO SEE YOU SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AT THE PORTLAND RETRO GAME EXPO!!
