G-Loc

G-LOC Air Battle’ was the 1993 Sega Genesis release of a single player air combat flight simulation game. The title term G-LOC refers to a condition in aerial combat called Gravity Induced Loss of Consciousness, or  Blackout. It was based on a Japanese Arcade player, and was considered a follow on to ‘Afterburner’.
The painting was airbrushed using a Paasche Model VL, using Gouach opaque watercolors on a cold press illustration board.
